Thanks for joining us for this newsletter where we bring you some reminders about the important basics for good vision and share some reader feedback on the new book.
For those who have joined our list in the last year or two (or last day or two) you might be amazed at the amount of information and complimentary lessons on our Articles/Blog page.
Whether you are just starting out on improving your eyesight naturally or have been practicing for a while, you need to make sure you are giving some attention to the fundamentals. Often those who have been doing vision activities for some time can have lost these basics, but they are super important! And if you are just starting to look into natural vision improvement, you might be amazed at what a difference these ‘little’ things can make to your visual comfort and general eyesight.
Below are the articles we are suggesting for review this month.
Remember to breathe! The brain and eyes need oxygen and plenty of it for good function. Revisit the importance of breathing in Breathing and Eyesight Part 1 and Breathing and Eyesight Part 2.
Blinking seems like such a small thing but it does play a vital role in clearing old information from the light receiving cells of your retina! For more information on the importance of blinking read the article Blinking.
Remember that when visual blur occurs it’s usually not because the eyes are weak, it’s because they are tense and stressed. Resting your eyes and mind are very important to eyesight and general health. Check out our article on the Palming activity, including a complimentary audio lesson from Carina in Palming and Imaginative Seeing. You’ll love it!
These 4 articles and more are easy to find at the ‘Articles List’ page.
What an exciting year it’s been for us here at JGM with the introduction of two long-awaited products adding
to the joy of life with baby Zinnia in Carina’s house! After years of hard work it has been wonderful to make available both the extensive Personal Eyesight Training Kit and the new book The Practical Guide to Natural Vision Improvement. We appreciate those who have decided to make a start on their clear eyesight with these products at home, and have some great feedback to share with you about the book:
“We have just started the book and I have suggested the basics with my daughter, breathing, cross-crawl and especially the magic pencil. She notices immediate improvement!!! I love all that I’ve read so far in your book….it’s very enlightening
and enjoyable.” Elaine McCoy
“I’m really enjoying your book! I’m doing the four introductory exercises and I’m seeing improvement. The pinhole glasses are great too! I really like your approach. It’s very friendly.” Brooks Palmer
Thanks for letting us share those comments, Elaine and Brooks! I also want to thank Brooks for introducing me to the concept that he works in; ‘Clutter-Busting’. What a great name for getting rid of the physical stuff in our lives that holds us back, and so similar to an important part of vision improvement – getting rid of old stuff on the inner mental/emotional side. In fact Brooks also had this to say:
“Your vision improvement work is very much about letting go of a cluttered strained way of trying to make our eyes see a particular way and letting them do their job naturally. I’ll pass what you do on to people that can use it!”
I loved Brooks ‘Letters from Clutter’. The Letter from Fear was particularly great stuff for myopes! Check it out at: http://brooks-palmer.blogspot.com/2010/07/letters-from-clutter.html
If you don’t already have a copy of the new book The Practical Guide to Natural Vision Improvement, more information and copies are available here. We are also offering a discount on pinhole glasses when purchased together with the book.
That’s all for now, we’ll revisit a few more basics next time to keep you and your eyes in good shape for your busy life.
